ZEITHOLZ is a young company from the Osterzgebirge, which is dedicated to combining the Glashütte watchmaking art with the traditional wood crafts of the Erzgebirge.
Our mission is to inspire a new generation for traditional craft products. We achieve this by reviving classic designs in a modern guise in our products and strictly controlling costs and quality to always offer our customers the best value for their money. By processing waste wood not used elsewhere, we do our part to combine taste and sustainability.

One of our main motivations for designing a watch made of wood was the fact that it would also allow us to maintain our goal of environmental friendliness at the same time. Our watches are handcrafted from sustainably sourced materials and without the use of harsh chemicals. This means that they are less harmful to the environment than the traditional metal watches you're used to seeing.
After doing everything possible to meet this standard and create the most environmentally friendly product possible, we set out to find other ways to positively impact our planet. In doing so, we came across the work of Trees.org. We find that their ethos aligns well with ours, which is why we entered into a partnership. We have committed to planting a tree for every watch we sell, so any success we have as a company quickly and directly benefits the world's neediest regions.
We are excited to be part of the Trees.org journey, whose goal is to plant over 1 billion trees by 2030. With the help of our customers, we were able to plant more than 4,000 trees last year. We have set our goal for 2022 higher and we are confident that we can contribute to Trees.org's goal by planting 10,000 trees.
